Financial Structure
The programs and properties of First Presbyterian Church are financially supported by the voluntary gifts of the Congregation and friends.
Each year, a Stewardship Awareness campaign brings the subject of church finances to the conscious minds of our members and friends. During those campaigns, our focus is to have each member or family assess through prayerful consideration, how much God is asking them to give to His church. No one is coerced or embarrassed into giving any certain amount or percentage of income or anything at all. Giving to the Church is strictly a confidential and personal decision.
For those members and friends who would like to make contributions via the Internet, we offer that opportunity through PayPal, a secure online money transfer system. Click here for that opportunity.
Through the generosity of a few founding members
and the continuing support of many, First Presbyterian Church has
established an Endowment Fund. The general guidelines of the
Endowment Fund are that the earnings may be used for Programs and
Outreach and that the principle should not be invaded.
The Endowment Fund grows through both reinvestment of unspent
earnings as well as on-going contributions from the congregation and
friends. We welcome and encourage inclusion in your estate plans;
please consider adding First Presbyterian Church as a beneficiary in
your will.
